Creative Process

During the process of creating the blog graphics and Instagram posts, the goal was to add more creativity and specific style into the upcoming designs created by me and the other interns, we of course had to follow the already established brand guidelines and had some minor design restrictions such as the way the glasses for the mocktails were shaded, and the white borders on the edges of the Instagram posts. I had to use my knowledge to create comprehensive and eye grabbing designs while keeping within the parameters of the brand guidelines and requested style standards. I stated by sketching each idea I had into my iPad, to get an idea of how I wanted the layout to look, what types of images and pictures I wanted to use, and what colors I wanted where. During this time, I would peruse sites and Pinterest, The Plug website, and The Plug Instagram page to get as feel for how past designs were played out to get inspiration. After that, I consulted with my higher ups to see what they thought of my designs and if they wanted me to move forward. I would then move my vision into Adobe!
